Emerald Isle Beef Producers are a group of farmers who have come together for the purpose of selling our cattle collectively. The aim is that farmers keep control of their cattle at this critical time i.e. the time of sale. We try to send the cattle to the outlet where the farmer will get the most money. Because we sell a large volume of different types of cattle weekly we are always well informed as to the best available price for each cattle type.
We are currently the only officially recognised Beef Producer Organisation that is actively selling cattle for its members. Because we are an officially recognised PO we can legally negotiate price on behalf of our members . If you want to join EIBP you can do so by calling Eamon at 086 222 8246.
